Thinking of hiring?
  1. What sizes are available?- Please see our list: skip sizes.
  2. How much will it cost? - Prices vary depending on skip size. For an exact quotation please contact us.
  3. When & how do I pay?- Payment is required on delivery of the skip. Payments can be made by Cash or Cheque on Delivery.
  4. Where can I put the skip?
    • On private property with clear access for the truck. Not in a position where the skip would have to be lifted over a wall or fence, as this may cause damage.
    • On Council property, (a road, rear lane or grass verge) with the appropriate Council Permit. There is a charge for this service, depending on your local authority, but we can complete all the paperwork for you.
If the council refuses the licence which is quite rare we can offer a service where the driver can wait at your property while you fill the skip. (This service is for a maximum of up to 30 mins).
  5. How long do I have the skip for?- The normal hire period is 14 days, but this can be extended subject to availability.
  6. Whatcan't I put in the skip?
    • Asbestos
    • Vehicle Batteries
    • Fridges
    • Freezers
    • Non-empty Paint Tins
    • Gas Cylinders
    • Vehicle tyres
    • Oil or Lubricants
    • Clinical Waste
    • Food Waste
    • Television monitors & other electrical items
    • Any Hazardous Waste

All other general waste and building materials accepted.

Once you've hired...

  1. Where's my skip? - We can specify Morning or Afternoon deliveries, but we can't be more specific than that due to the nature of the job. If you need the skip for a specific time, arrange to have it delivered the day before, in order to avoid any problems.
  2. Level Load Only- This is a Legal Requirement on us - we will not collect skips which are loaded above level load.
  3. No Fires- A skip is not an incinerator, and is not designed for fires. Please don't light fires in them, or you may be charged to repair the damage.
  4. What happens to the waste after you take it away?- Everything we can recycle, will be recycled. At present this includes:
    • Wood
    • Scrap Metals
    • Carpets
    • Cardboard
    • Plastic
    • Green Waste
    • Hardcore
    • Glass
    • Paper
  5. When will the skip be collected - Please call when the skip is ready for collection. The skip will be due for collection on the seventh day, but depending on collection bookings, we are unable to specify a day for collection. We aim to collect the skips as quickly as possible.
